This is an “emulator” of a Japanese
thumb shift system, recreating its functionality for a QWERTY keyboard.
Instructions:
- Spacebar pretends to be the thumb shift. Press spacebar at the same time as any other key to “shift” it. Do not treat it as a Shift key!
Just press it the same way and at the same time you press the regular key.
- You can use Enter to add a space.
- Regular Shift keys and Caps Lock don’t work.
- Note: Punctuation and symbols might not work properly on non-English QWERTY keyboards.
- Note: This won’t work on mobile phones for obvious reasons.
Try to type in:
- Your name
- “Apple iPod nano 4GB!”
